Beginning Wine Production

In the past the first stage of wine was to trample the grapes by foot in the wine-press. The juice was collected and from it wine was produced. Today grapes are processed in a mechanical crusher which crushes the grapes to make must (pulp). Then begins the fermentation period.

Fermenting Wine
